Louisiana is the airline's largest hub, which VVA operates 35 percent of flights at the airport on the FSA network,VVA also operates 90 percent of flights at the San Antonio Airport on FSA network which VVA is based out of.

History

Vexcon was started in Late 2008 By Don Brown.

Vexcon had other plans

Vexcon Virtual Airlines was not suppose to turn out to be an airline, Vexcon which also can mean "exterminate" was suppose to be an airline scrapping yard. The plan was to buy aircraft's from different airlines and scrap them.Unfortunately Vexcon Found out the plan would not work and the only way to make lots of money would be to fly cargo or passenger. To keep the scrap yard in business Vexcon opened there doors to passenger service.Unfortunately, VVA opened passenger and eventually forgot the plan about scrapping aircraft's.

After the scrapping business plan was forgotten Vexcon bought 3 aircraft's. A MD88, Boeing 737-400 and eventually purchased a Boeing 747-100

During the late 2008 Vexcon also started accepting partnerships from different airlines.During this time Vexcon had 5 partnership airlines, out of those 5 airlines only 2 airlines actually exchanged code share routes.

Expansion in 2009 - MID 2010

In 2009 Vexcon Virtual Airline decided to expand there airline to become more reorganized and haul more people and cargo. During the time of the expansion VVA brought in a whole new fleet of aircraft's and added nearly 4 hubs.During this time VVA scrapped many of there old aircraft's that help start the airline.

In Mid 2009 Vexcon started Continental service and Direct TV on there aircraft's they also started in flight movie and food service. Vexcon also increased pilot pay in the airline to nearly 50 percent.

In early 2010 Vexcon did a full sweep fleet change to new Boeing 777-300's

In Mid 2010 Vexcon came up with the official Vexcon logo created by (Eric) aka Ivan hays and Don Brown, they also started plans for the new Boeing 787 fleet.

Merger with Golden Eagle Airways

Vexcon Eventually Merged with Golden Eagle Airways in plans to create one Hugh airline.Unfortunately Vexcon unmerged with GEA a day short because GEA would not let VVA create there own fleet with there own name and would not let them post there name on the airline info wall or blackboard. The deal was called off and Vexcon went back to being an independent airline.

Operations

Employment

The president founder and CEO of Vexcon is "Don Brown" Although "Don Brown" also known as "Dman" has not been replaced by any other CEO's and is still an active CEO of Vexcon.

The former VCEO of Vexcon Virtual Airlines is Fidel Turcaz, Fidel is also still the active VCEO in Vexcon Virtual Airlines.

Former employee "Ivan Hays" also known as "Eric" use to be Vexcon COO, he stepped down in position due to leave of absence. Eric is now one of the managers in Vexcon and he is still active in the airline.

Acquisitions

As of MID 2010 and late 2010 Vexcon Virtual Airlines has made 3 acquisitions.

US Airways - Former CEO of US airways did not want to run the company any more.He did not have the funds and he wasn't having any fun running the airline.Vexcon took over US airways with only a fleet of 12 aircraft's and only 4 hubs. After a year in service with Vexcon Virtual Airlines the CEO left the airline and left all the employee's in the airline alone. All the planes were scrapped and any inactive workers from US airways were booted from the airline.Vexcon made a net profit of at least $40,000,000 of US airways.

SKY US - Skyus offered lots of routes across the US and was famous for the Hay river route: from Yellow knife to hay river. Eventually the CEO "Jean Frostin" became tired of running a full airline. The airline had a fleet of 15 aircraft's in all and no hubs. After the merger with Vexcon "Jean Frostin" decided he wanted to join Vexcon.Sky US planes were sold and scrapped and "Jean Frostin" joined Vexcon Virtual Airlines. Jean Frostin the former CEO had an active "Fleet Manager" position although he eventually grew 8 month's inactive and was kicked from the airline. The net profit off this airline was $15,000,000 because of all the small planes and negative routes.Vexcon now runs the popular Hay River route to Canada now.

Deep Air - In Mid 2010 Vexcon ran across Deep Air. Deep Air had a fleet of nearly 60 aircraft's and 15 hubs. The reason why Vexcon offered an Acquisition with Deep Air was because the airline was inactive and still had a chance.Deep Air CEO "José Eulogio Moreno Ortiz" took the offer and merged with Vexcon Virtual Airlines. Although Deep Air is still in active merge with Vexcon Virtual Airlines. The CEO has been rather inactive and no flights have been done in the airline ever since the merge.Net profit from the merge $-26,000,000 and if the company unmerged it could be one big pay day for Vexcon Virtual Airlines.

Internet Presence

Vexcon now has booking flight system for passengers on the company website using xml editor, Passenger and pilots can also view flights with the online flight tracker system And also on the website an LED scroll locker to tell news to passengers if there is a delayed flight.

HeadQuarters

The Vexcon Virtual Airlines head quarters are located in San Antonio,Texas near the airport.

This is the first ever head quarters the airline has owned, with nearly 50,000 ft in width and costing only $3,000,000. The building has offices for every pilot and every executive member in the company. And with 69 parking spaces total in the parking lot no one has to fuss about how another pilot is parked crooked.

Other Airlines currently in Vexcon

"Rangers" _Emergency supplier service_ - Rangers which was started by Jean Frostin and taken over by Eric Hays is an emergency supplier service for airports in Canada. Rangers with a fleet of small and old aircraft's such as the Cessna C208B and some helicopters is used for back logged orders.Whenever any city in Canada runs low on fuel or needs supplies desperately it relies on "Rangers" to come and get the supplies for them.Small villages in Canada territories which only rely on Rangers to get them supplies when "Buffalo Virtual Airways" is unable to maintain service. Rangers will fly in any kind of weather to get the food and services to the customers.Rangers will be under going remodeling from 2010 to late 2011 to get stuff back in order. because the airline is part of Vexcon all aircraft's are ordered to San Antonio,Texas for repair and maintenance just like any other Vexcon aircraft.

Vexcon Fleet

Vexcon currently has a medium fleet consisting of nearly 21 aircraft's Vexcon is one of the smallest airline to operate the large Boeing 777-300 which is now in temporary service.
Although Vexcon operates the regular Boeing 737,777,787 and more boeings.. Vexcon does lease other aircrafts such as the Airbus A330 and the Boeing 757.

During the Late 2010 period Vexcon decided to change the airline fleets. (Read more about why the Boeing 777-300 is going into storage below)
The current fleet names in VVA:

US Fleet - Still active
Intercontinental fleet - Still Active
Cargo Fleet - Does regular cargo flights, not active during the winter.
Rental fleet - If VVA leases an aircraft from another airline, they all go into this fleet
Retired/storage fleet - The name of the fleet speaks for itself, planes are also scrapped in this fleet

Vexcon Virtual Airlines current fleet as of July,2011

The Boeing 777-300 is currently in storage because the Boeing 787 are in service as of July 2011.Because VVA does not have enough pilots to fly the Boeing 777 full time the Boeing 777 are forced into storage. The Boeing 777 are not going to be scrapped or sold because the aircraft has many records and if the aircraft was scrapped it would really put a dig on pilot log books and other records in the airline. The Boeing 777 will still fly only when the Boeing 787's are down for repair or training new pilots.Unless VVA finds more pilots to fly the Boeing 777 they will be in storage and a thing of the past.

Vexcon retired fleet of MID 2009

In MID 2009 VVA brought in a whole new style to the airline. They added more hubs and more fleets.During 2009 VVA had different Varies of fleets. Fleets listed below:

Mexico fleet - Used A321-200's to fly from KSAT to mexico providing one stop service

Canada fleet - VVA was suppose to buy a Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 767-400ERF to put in the Canada unfortunately VVA changed there whole fleet. The Canada fleet was never started.

Louisiana fleet - The Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 757-300 were both entered into this fleet. At least 30 flights were made in this particular fleet when VVA decided to make a US fleet. The aircrafts were moved to the US Fleet which is still in progress today.

US Fleet - The US fleet which is still open and active today consisted of an MD11 and Boeing 767-400ERF, Both of those planes were retired from VVA

Transcontinental fleet - Is still an active fleet with a different name called "Intercontinental fleet" which consisted of Airbus A380

Vexcon fleet of late 2008 (These aircrafts help start VVA)

When Vexcon first started and had plans of being a scrap yard company they found out that they would also be losing money while they were bringing it in. Vexcon then decided they needed a plane that could hold cargo and a plane that could hold passengers. The first ever plane that was purchased by VVA was the Boeing 737-400 it was VVA's first passenger plane. As the airline started making money there plans about making Vexcon a scrap yard company went out the window. They later purchased there first Boeing 747-100 and went on to buying The MD11 and C130 for cargo and passenger. At this time there were no organized fleets.

The plane diverted, and he was immediately removed. The flight continued onto its destination.

(INCIDENT) Early 2009 = A Boeing 777-300LRF (Freighter) accidentally bumped into the hangar while taxiing to the active runway. The accident occurred because of faulty brakes, the aircraft's gear status was at 91 percent, possibly another reason why the brakes were not working. The flight was canceled and the plane returned to B check repair. There were no injuries and pilots walked away safely,Don the CEO came up with a much larger rule that concluded all planes be repaired at 95.5% status no less!
